Brief History: Born and raised in Boston, Shannan experienced a happy and stable, for the most part, childhood. When Shannan was seven the girl found out she wasn't exactly like other children her age. She learned quite unexpectedly that she had inherited the ability to turn herself invisible from her mother, Shannan also learned at that time that her mother wasn't a normal human, but rather a demon with shapeshifting and invisbility abilities. It was through her mother's guidance and support, which she also had from her father, that Shannan learned to control and respect her inherited ability.

The girl knew from around the age of nine that she wanted to be a doctor. The fact was quite evident by the number of bandages and such the girl's dolls, and sometimes neighboring children, were subjected to wearing to help heal imaginary wounds and injuries that had been diagnosed by "Doctor Shannan".

After graduating from Harvard Medical School and doing a year's internship at MGH, Shannan transferred to a Chicago to do her internship. Which lasted for a couple years when Shannan jumped at the chance to move to L.A. when a residency position opened up at LAGH. It was a dream of a lifetime for Shannan to be able to work at the prestigious and well known hospital.

Other Info: While Shannan's ability prevents her from being seen by the naked eye, she is still corporeal; therefore she cannot phase through anything of solid mass. Also, transforming into invisibility doesn't come easily. A couple minutes won't necessarily phase Shannan, but longer then that will start to wear on the woman. She'll start feeling weak and tired and find it hard to concentrate after fifteen minute in invisibility mode.
